SDI Communications Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how SDI collects, uses, and shares your personal and non-personal information, as well as an explanation of the data rights you may have.

Note: SDI may update this Policy when it is required by law and the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). That said, we suggest our website users review our Policy periodically to maintain their informed consent. 


2. What Information do we collect?

When you use our Contact page functions, you may provide us Personal Information, such as name, email address, phone number, and any information you include in your communications with us.  


 3. Why do we collect Personal Information?

We use your Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide users with information and/or assistance, only upon your request.

  2. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

4. Your Personal Information

Our host site,, functions as the “Processor” and not as the “Controller” (as both such capitalized terms are defined in the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”)) of SDI’s website and our users’ Information. ( Privacy Policy)


4.1 Wix Users-of-users Disclaimers

Wix’s privacy policy states: “The Processing of the Users-of-users’ Personal Information shall take place within the territory of the European Union, Israel or a third country, territory or one or more specified sectors within that third country of which the European Commission has decided that it ensures an adequate level of protection and such processing and transfer will be in accordance to the Data Processing Addendum – Users (“DPA"). Any transfer to and Processing in a third country outside the European Union that does not ensure an adequate level of protection according to the European Commission, shall be conducted under an approved transfer mechanism, as detailed in the DPA.”

Wix’s Policy also includes the following: “If you are a visitor, user or customer of any of our Users, please read the following: Wix has no direct relationship with Users-of-Users whose Personal Information it processes. If you are a visitor, user or customer of any of our Users, and would like to make any requests or queries regarding your Personal Information, please contact such User(s) directly. For example, if you wish to request to access, correct, amend, or delete inaccurate Personal Information processed by Wix on behalf of its Users, please direct your query to the relevant User (who is the “Controller” of such data). If Wix is requested by our Users to remove any Users-of-Users’ Personal Information, we will respond to such requests in a timely manner upon verification and in accordance with applicable law (for example, thirty (30) days under the GDPR). Unless otherwise instructed by our User, we will retain their Users-of-Users’ Personal Information for the period set forth in Section 12 [in the Privacy Policy link] below.” ( Privacy Policy)  


5. Data retention

SDI retains no personal information on our website. Wix however, may keep Personal Information for as long as we continue to use them as our host site. Wix may continue to keep Personal Information after this website and our account with Wix is closed “as reasonably necessary to comply with [their] legal obligations, to resolve disputes regarding [their] Users or their Users-of-Users, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce [their] agreements and/or protect our legitimate interests.” ( Privacy Policy


6. Where does Wix store your ‘Personal Information’?

Personal Information may be stored [by Wix] in data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, and Israel. [Wix] may use other jurisdictions as necessary for the proper delivery of [their] Services and/or as may be required by law.” ( Privacy Policy)


7. Security

Wix offers “HTTPS secure access to most areas on [their] Services” ... “[Wix] also regularly monitors [their] systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks, and regularly seeks new ways and Third-Party Services for further enhancing the security of [their] Services and protection of [their] Visitors’ and Users’ privacy.” ( Privacy Policy)


8. Your rights in relation to your ‘Personal Information’

Both SDI and Wix believe that it is imperative that all users have control over their Personal Information. 

In accordance with the GDPR:


8.1. If you requested to be contacted through our website, you have the right to: 

  • Request access to your information 

  • Receive a copy of your information 

  • Update your information 

  • Amend your information 

  • Delete your information 


8.2 You can withdraw your consent or exercise your rights listed above, at any time. Send your request through our Contact page. We may take steps to verify your identity before complying with your request in order to protect you from fraud. 


8.3 We are committed to honoring your request promptly. In cases where we have to obtain more information to protect from fraud and other legal or otherwise permissible considerations, it may take us some time to resolve a request made of us; but no longer than thirty days under the GDPR.
